The "Cityscapes" series evolved from an insight about the possibility of dreaming as a pilot who sees thousands of cities at night, with their ambient light and specific features that might return in his or her dreams to fuse into continually overlapping and interweaving images. Although they represent imaginary places, they may resemble parts of any large city on Earth.

This is an original visual artwork, number 4 of an ongoing series of mixed media works. The original concept was inspired by an ancient map that had rotted along the folds. The idea for this particular piece evolved from a proposition: "If you are not fully free, then ask yourself: WHY?"
